IN 1882
The company was original founded in 1882 under the name of ‘’JIM IRIS & SONS – SALEH BEY SELIM & SONS’’. It was the first shipping agency in Port Said. It acted as General Merchants & Ship chandlers for British Admiralty Contractors & USA Navy. In addition it provided all required services (including Charcoal) to the ships passing through the Suez Canal.
IN 1997
The company has changed its name to World Marine, carrying on the legacy of its origins and is considered today one of the largest and most reputable companies in the Egyptian marine and petroleum sector, offering 7 branch offices across the country to cover both the Red Sea and the Mediterranean Coasts.
